According to the story of the two sisters, who spent their childhood on the property, the family grew vegetables and some fruit in the back garden, and today the old fig and olive trees bear witness to those bygone times. Typical of an old house, a stone-walled cistern is glued to the back.

The front yard is dominated by a lush canopy of mulberries, under which family members rested on hot days. On the edge of the front yard there is an overhang for a wooden carriage, and next to it there is a "lisjera", a space with a fireplace.
