Rovinj is entering a period of significant investment in
public infrastructure, which will long-term improve the quality of life for its residents. The City has launched two major projects – the
extension of the primary school and the construction of a completely new
bus station, continuing its strategy of investing in education and transport connectivity.
According to the City of Rovinj, construction of the new bus terminal will soon begin at the Concetta location, replacing the outdated existing facility. The new
bus terminal is designed to meet modern passenger transport standards, offering greater capacity, improved traffic management, and modern amenities for travelers. This facility is expected to enhance Rovinj’s connectivity with the rest of Istria and Croatia.
At the same time, the project for the
expansion of Juraj Dobrila Primary School has also been launched. The extension will provide better conditions for students and teachers, including additional classrooms and spaces for extracurricular activities. The aim of this project is to accommodate the growing number of pupils and create a higher-quality environment for the education of future generations.
Investments in
education and
transport are a clear signal that
Rovinj is determined to follow contemporary trends in urban development. In addition to improving the daily life of its citizens, these projects further contribute to the city’s attractiveness as a place to live, work, and invest.
